*Sulcata require a health certificate when crossing state lines. So if you live outside of Florida, I will need to charge an additional $15 per order (so $15 for one tortoise or many).  Reference link.

 

DISCLAIMERS

1) All turtles and tortoises offered for sale are CBB excess from my collection and intended to establish or enhance breeding groups in other collections, in order to increase the viability of the species in captivity.

2) No sales will be made to minors.

3) No sales to pet stores.

4) It is up to customers to know their local laws pertaining to reptiles and act accordingly.

5) This is not a business. I do not have a storefront, staff, or keep posted hours. I do have a full time job. I try to be prompt with responses and normally check my email at least twice a day, but there are times that I am away - mainly weekends. Please keep this in mind when contacting.

6) If you are looking for a species that is not mentioned on this list or on my Breeding Projects page then I will not have it - ever.

7) If you are seriously looking for a species that I have had in the past, but am out of now, you can email me and get added to a wish-list. When I have the species I will contact you in the order you contacted me and you will have a few days to respond before I move to the next interested party.

 

GUARANTEES

1) All turtles sold are feeding and weeks to months old. Nothing right out of the egg.

2) There will be no: extra scutes (unless specified), extra heads, missing eyes, missing feet, missing toes, or missing tail tips.

3) Live arrival guaranteed. In the unfortunate circumstance that a turtle is DOA, you need to contact me the day of arrival and send me a picture for verification.

 

ORDERING AND PAYMENT STEPS

1) Email me before sending any funds to verify turtle availability.  mailto:eric@empireoftheturtle.com.

2) To get a total, I will need to run a shipping quote. For this I will need; your first and last name, full address, and a phone number. The phone number goes on the box in case of delivery problems. There are no packing charges. Styrofoam lined boxes, heat/cold packs (depending on weather), cloth bags /deli cups are included in the price of the animal. All boxes and packing materials are new. You can reuse the box and gel cold packs. Please recycle.

3) If I have what you are looking for proceed to step 3a or 3b.

3a) I accept paypal under account earthbuilder9@empireoftheturtle.com . If you haven't used Paypal, you can follow this link and find out how it works.

3b) I also accept USPS Money Orders at Eric Holt, P.O. Box 22, Yalaha Florida 34797. Please inform me if  you mail a money order so that I check the P.O. Box.

4) Once I have payment I can ship Mon-Wed for Tue-Thu arrival. I will need to know what day (Tuesday thru Thursday) that you or another responsible party can be at the shipping address to receive the turtle. I need this information at least by midnight the night prior to shipping. I do not ship past Wednesday, in order to leave at least two regular business days for the package to be delivered in case of a carrier error.

5) I ship the turtle via Next Day Air, or the equivalent, and email you a confirmation with tracking information that evening. Tracking usually begins showing up after 8pm Eastern Time and can be followed at the appropriate link.

                 

6) Please let me know how the turtle arrives. In the unfortunate circumstance that a turtle is DOA, you need to contact me the day of arrival and send me a picture for verification.
