Below is a list of captive bred (CBB) turtles and tortoises that I have for sale. If you are looking for something that is not on this list or on my Breeding Projects page then I will not have it.

Please read this page as it should answer most questions.

*Sulcata require a health certificate when crossing state lines. So if you live outside of Florida, I will need to charge an additional $15 per order (so $15 for one tortoise or many). Reference link.

DISCLAIMERS

1) All turtles and tortoises offered for sale are CBB excess from my collection and intended to establish or enhance breeding groups in other collections, in order to increase the viability of the species in captivity.

2) No sales will be made to minors.

3) No turtles or tortoises will be sold to pet stores.

4) It is up to customers to know their local laws pertaining to reptiles and act accordingly.

GUARANTEES

1) All turtles sold are feeding and weeks to months old. Nothing right out of the egg.

2) There will be no: extra scutes (unless specified), extra heads, missing eyes, missing feet, missing toes, or missing tail tips.

3) Live arrival guaranteed. Beyond that I can not guarantee anything as I can't be held responsible for mistakes you might make.

PAYMENT STEPS

1) Email me before sending any funds to verify turtle availability. mailto:eric@empireoftheturtle.com. If I have what you are looking for proceed to step 2a or 2b.

2a) I accept paypal under account earthbuilder9@empireoftheturtle.com . If you haven't used Paypal, you can follow this link and find out how it works.

2b) I also accept USPS Money Orders (they are easier to verify) at Eric Holt, P.O. Box 22, Yalaha Florida 34797. Please inform me if you mail a money order so that I check the P.O. Box for it.

3) With whatever type of payment you choose you need to also send your shipping address, phone number (this goes on the shipping ticket in case of a problem with delivery), and the day (Tuesday thru Thursday) that you or another responsible party can be at the shipping address to receive the turtle. I need this information at least by midnight the night prior to shipping.

PACKING

There are no packing charges. Styrofoam lined boxes, heat/cold packs (depending on weather), cloth bags /deli cups are included in the price of the animal. All boxes and packing materials are new. You can reuse the box and gel cold packs. Please recycle.

SHIPPING

I am authorized to ship turtles by both UPS, and FedEx. Larger packages can be sent through Delta. I will only ship using UPS Next Day Air, FedEx Priority, or Delta Dash. Shipments are sent out Monday through Wednesday. This allows Wednesday's shipments, in the event of a problem, a second normal business day for delivery.

Due to the ever increasing cost of fuel I can no longer post prices in advance. To get a shipping quote you need to email me your full address.

TRACKING

Once packages are shipped I send a confirmation email that includes tracking information. Usually after 8PM EST the package will begin to show up in the system. I keep an eye on each shipment's progress, but provde the information for customers that wish to do the same.
